Status of the Eastern Development Area in 2018 and 2019

Housing development has begun in the eastern development area

The colored part of the image is a large housing development that was identified in 2018.

Development began around this time.

Residential area ① Around August 2019

It was developed by a Singapore developer in 2014.

At that time, it was a wetland, so it started with the construction and the site gradually expanded.

When I heard it locally in 2019, he said that he had expanded the site to 2.5 times the original size. It seems that this is mainly for people who work in special economic zones but are a little older.

Completed Borei 2023

Since 2019, it has been gradually completed. People have started living there since 2021, but the site is still expanding. The entire town is unified, so it is a residential area with a beautiful landscape. Most of the Borei here are two-story buildings, but some buildings have larger units.

Housing development area ② Around August 2019

This development has also been in place since 2014. There was no need to create this area, and the land was just leveled.

The development seems to be a local businessman, and it seems that he developed this with successful funds on the land of Sihanoukville. About 70% of the residential areas for sale are sold out, but when the bridge is built, the rest will be sold. The building has not been built yet, but it will be done after the bridge is built.

Development began in 2016 and has gradually expanded. The bridge is near here, so it seems that people in the middle class are buying it.

Although it is an overall image and interior model, it is a rather spacious and sophisticated city.

At the entrance, you can see Phnom Penh in the tower building.

The progress of the construction is almost complete, and there is no scaffolding for the tower building anymore. It seems that there are gradually residents in the house. It's almost selling here as well, so it seems that the site is expanding further.

Residential area ④ This is also a large residential area. There are stores and other daily necessities stores on the premises.

The photo is from around June 2019, so it seems that it is quite advanced now, one year later.

The design of the house is also modern, and the detached house with a large living room and parking lot is a lifestyle that many people long for.

From the premises, you can see the night view of Phnom Penh.

Once the bridge is built, it is becoming more popular because you can commute to work and you can buy a cheaper and larger house than you can buy a small and expensive house in Phnom Penh.
