As part of the future development of public transport, preliminary surveys have begun for the opening of a railway line.
Plans for the MTR from the new airport to Phnom Penh are already underway, but the survey that has just begun is for the railway planned within Phnom Penh.
It seems that the course has already been decided to some extent.
This has been under discussion with the Asian Infrastructure Bank for some time, but it feels like things are finally starting to move forward.
I think public transport will continue to increase in the future.
However, this was the same in Japan in the past, but when railways run, stations are built, and towns are developed there, traffic routes and commercial areas are created, so I would like to see this trend continue.
